When we first moved into our home here in Surbiton, I made it my mission to get our pictures hung as quickly as possible. There’s something about being surrounded by photos of the ones we love and snaps of wonderful memories that brightens my mood.

And lately, we’ve been making lots more memories and it’s time to update the photo displays. As I’m still relatively new to the area, I’ve been shopping around for a photo lab that can deliver the quality that will keep my photographs brilliant for ages, and I think I’ve finally found it in Loxley Colour.

kbp-10-2015-Product-0009Loxely Colour offers a wide range of products, so there are lots of options at different price points to choose from. I’m really pleased with the Acrylic Lifestyle Display with the three individual portrait
s of my boys. I chose the metallic print finish, and the
light from my windows plays on that finish nicely so I can see the portraits clearly from anywhere in the room without a glare. My display is 20″ x 9″ and will hang nicely in bedroom hallway to remind me of my munchkins as I carry their laundry back to their rooms.

I was also pleasantly surprised with the canvas wrap. The quality of the print is true to the photograph even with the textured finish. The framing is solid, and the hookbp-10-2015-Product-0006ks for hanging are as well. This is a great option for creating a visual centrepiece in a lounge or other frequently-used room. The canvas in the photo above is 30″ x 20″, and I think I’m going to hang it in my husband’s office, he needs some smiling faces to keep him company while he’s working :).

Once you have the images you love, you want to have a way to share them and to make sure they will be around to tell your story for generations. This is why it’s important to have quality prints, frames, albums, and wall art. Who wants a photograph that will fade before the memory does?
