Get in touch to talk about the details of your story and how your photo session will work. |

My website can only tell you so much about me and the photography.
Please send me an email or give me a call: 0782 455 5534. I can send you my client guide that explains in more detail what it’s like to have a photography session with me. Or we can just have an informal chat so you can ask me your questions directly.

It’s family photo session season, and for many, that brings some stress about getting family members to cooperate to get the photos you envision. But I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be stressful. We can get the photos of your kids to hang on the wall while also having a good time together. Swipe to see the other fun images that we got in this family’s session in August ⚽️🍓❤️. #familyphotoshoot #photosbutmakeitfun #storytellingphotography #kingstonuponthames #surbiton #newmalden #teddington

I’m getting excited for autumn family sessions over here!
Many of my clients are families I’ve photographed in years past, but I still like to be prepared for new families with samples of work and details of what it’s like to work with me.
That, and I love of bit of nostalgia going through past sessions to update the photos 😉. That’s the whole reason we take these photographs, to go back and remember the moments!
Send me a DM if you’d like to see the 2023 Client Guide. I still have a few dates open 📷🍁🌲

🌳🦌 Think your children are too old for a family photo shoot? Short answer: Nope!
No matter what age your children are, a family session offers the opportunity to get together, have some fun, and capture the dynamics and relationships that have developed.
This photoshoot took place in Richmond Park and gave the family an opportunity to revisit places in the park where they used to play when the children were little. Nothing like reliving fun memories and a reason to find your inner child to spark some laughs and fun!
❓Where would your family go to relive some great childhood memories ❓

Sunday Story 💫
A hike to the Daymark in Dartmouth
That pile of people in the first photo in the grass that look exhausted, that’s my family and they are definitely exhausted. We had planned what we thought would be a reasonable one hour hike up to the Daymark. But 2 and a half hours, 4.5 km, and 200 meters up later, we finally reached our destination only to find it behind a locked gate. In the moment, we were all feeling a bit defeated. But once we got back, we all agreed it was one of our best days. We encountered so many wonderful and unexpected views. We found a hidden beach where we rested and played for about 20 minutes. We met really lovely people from the Isles of Scilly on the walk back (and helped each other avoid getting run over by passing cars). Swipe to see more photos of the hike.
We still talk about the Daymark hike nearly 2 years on. My children now measure hikes in terms of this day (is this going to be like the Daymark hike? Longer or shorter than the Daymark walk? 😂)
I thought it might be fun to share some stories from photos I’ve taken both personally and for clients. After all, that’s why we take the photos - to keep the stories fresh in our minds.

It’s been a while, and I’m thrilled to reconnect and share the magic of storytelling through photography on Insta again 📸💫. I’ve been busy offline focusing my attention on my work with clients, my family, and building a new venture to support other mums like me running their own businesses. (See @mumsincompany) This post is a sneak peek of what I’ve been up to most recently in my photography!
Up first is from my session today with the lovely Paula of @plantbasedkids.uk She’s doing very yummy and wonderful things with families interested in plant-based nutrition for children. 🥦🍠👩👦
Swipe to see the colourful room I was taking headshots in this week. I had a blast capturing the personalities and professionalism of a few fab female executives. 📷👩💼
Swipe again to see the untamed beauty of Devon’s coastal rocks and my proud son who traversed them. As my children continue to get older (despite my pleas otherwise), I enjoy documenting how they are growing and changing. 🌊🪨
So while I’ve enjoyed being immersed in the day to day of keeping on, I am eager to share the stories and emotions I’ve been capturing. So it’s seems a good time to get back on here and say hello.
Hello! 👋

What a journey we've been on, hey? This morning, I went on my last family photoshoot before Christmas. We had a wonderful morning in Esher Common and managed to avoid the dire weather forecast. There were lovely colours and we even got a bit of sun. It was a great session to finish out the season. So while I haven't been posting here much, I have been very busy since the summer when I was finally able to get back to photography. It's been nice to be back, and I look forward to sharing more of my stories here now! #simplestorytelling #documentyourdays #photostory #shamoftheperfect #honestlydocumented #beautyinthereal #yourstoryisworthtelling #sharethejoy

We're having a little fun today. I'm a big believer of life-long learning, and today I was trying out some new settings and techniques with my kit. Lucky for me, my husband is a willing model (and in need of a new headshot!). Swipe left and see the final image.

Gardening win
Gardening has been a big part of our lockdown story. My husband was keen to plant vegetables and see what we could grow. It started with some sprouting potatoes from our cupboard. Then after a trip to the garden centre, he planted cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, habanero peppers, and a variety of herbs.
Today, he harvested his first cucumber. It was delicious! And now we are hooked on growing our own. #ourlockdownstory #simplystorytelling #documentyourdays

Hey there! It's been so long, that I'm not really sure where to start. Anyone else feeling this way as things start to open back up? I feel like my life has changed so much from where I was at the beginning of March.
Like a lot of parents, I had to set aside my work once the lockdown hit in order to take care of my family. At first, it felt surreal and I was in survival mode. Then, homeschooling and managing the constant eating and exercise needs became my new normal. It got to the point where I didn't even think about picking up my camera anymore.
I got frustrated that I no longer had the time to think about photo stories let alone edit them. It was easier to leave my camera in the bag. Instead, I picked up my crochet hook and some yarn and started creating that way.
But I've found myself drawn back to my photos and the stories they tell lately. My family has been sharing old photos on our online chats. I had a long-lost friend find me through Facebook and we started reminiscing.
And then my youngest son turned 6 and I realised that I never finished his first year album! So over the last few weeks, I've been sitting down at night when I can grab some time and finishing a page here and a page there.
And today, I finally finished it! It's off to the press and we should have it in hand by the end of the month.
I feel back. I'm ready to tell stories through photos again. #simplestorytelling #documentyourdays #photostory #shamoftheperfect #honestlydocumented #beautyinthereal #yourstoryisworthtelling #sharethejoy #timewithfamily
